Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Nutrition, Food & Nutrition, Food technology and engineering, Health Education, Public health, Health economics, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention or a field relevant to international public health development.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical officer- Nutrition is responsible to arrange different nutrition session at producer groups and participatory group planning by engaging lead farmers, local government organizations, different service providers. S/he will support in selection of lead farmers, identify problems and prospects in the nutritional aspect in rural community. S/he will deliver, monitor, and evaluate the nutrition program activities at the community level. S/he will facilitate implementation of community level nutrition interventions, will organize awareness raising programmer in the community level & establish linkage with relevant actors, service providers (GOB and other social/commercial brand suppliers/pharmaceutical companies). S/he capitalizes the day-to- day learning, most significant changes on a regular basis. Furthermore, s/he contributes to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report.
∎ Under the direct supervision of Project Manager, Technical officer- Nutrition will coordinate and facilitate implementation of program deliverables at Community level.
∎ Assume responsibility for ongoing program activities at the designated field site.
∎ Maintain network with appropriate counterparts - Private sectors and GoB officials i.e. Ministry of Health and Family Planning(MOH&FW),
∎ Link project participants with public & private sector extension service providers, market actors, food processors, financial institutions and follow up the establish linkages
∎ Participate in the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of nutrition projects, including nutrition surveys, selective feeding programs, and nutrition education at respective sites.
∎ Develop and maintain excellent relationships with other projects, local organizations and community groups.
∎ Under the guidance of Technical officer- Nutrition will provide ongoing assistance, capacity building and training for community groups.
∎ Organize different events including day observation in community groups and linkages with other service facilities at Upazilla unions
∎ Oversee the identification, development, or acquisition of appropriate resources to support technical components of the program including written translation of materials.
∎ Internalize evaluation tools, and compile and enter data into computer data base for program evaluations and surveys.
∎ Provide information for analysis and reporting.
∎ Document lessons learned case study and support for learning and advocacy.
∎ Provide technical input/support to effectively implement the research agenda
∎ And facilitate in school gardening and training in co-ordination with Lead farmer and producers group.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have at least two years of experience in nutrition program implementation in community level, sexual and reproductive health and rights, behavioural change, safe motherhood, nutrition counselling at community level, food safety and security etc.
∎ The Nutritionist must be able to interpret nutrition assessment data, provide nutrition counselling to families, and in other ways promote good nutrition habits in children and Families
∎ Have the experience and ability to delivery of comprehensive, high quality nutrition program.
∎ Excellent English skills, written and oral, required.
∎ Ability to work effectively with remote area.
∎ Proven ability on Nutrition Program
∎ Proven ability to work in intercultural environments
∎ Effective communication skills
∎ Must have ability to ride motorbike and have valid motorbike license

Salary:
∎ Monthly salary package is BDT 35,640/-.
