Responsibilities & Context:

These roles of the advertised position typically involve overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of nursing units which are summarized as follows:

 Patient Care:

• Supervising and ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care. 

• Conducting regular rounds to assess patient needs and the quality of care. 

• Analyzing and evaluating the nursing services required within the unit. 

Staff Management:

• Supervising and coordinating the work of nursing staff. 

• Developing and implementing staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels. 

• Providing guidance and support to nursing staff. 

• Conducting performance evaluations of nursing staff. 

• Addressing and resolving any staff-related issues or concerns. 

Administrative Duties:

• Maintaining records and reports related to nursing services. 

• Oversee Roster Management of the Nursing Supervisors & Nursing Staff

• Managing inventory of supplies and equipment. 

• Participating in budget planning and resource allocation. 

• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures. 

Liaison and Communication:

• Acting as a liaison between the nursing staff, other departments, and hospital administration. 

• Communicating relevant information to nursing staff and other stakeholders. 

• Representing the nursing department in meetings and other official functions.
