∎ Diploma in Paramedics or related subject from any reputed institution with valid certificate
Job Context:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF`s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Study Nurse/Paramedics for a Phase III double-blind study to assess safety and efficacy of an RSV Maternal unadjuvanted vaccine, in pregnant women and infants born to vaccinated mothers.
∎ Duty station: Any Medical College Hospital at Sylhet
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
∎ The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to screen and register pregnant women
∎ Assist study physicians during screening, recruitment and follow up visits
∎ Contacting the enrolled pregnant women and their children and ensure their availability on scheduled visit days at hospital
∎ Collect specimens as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
∎ Work in a roster base to cover round o'clock (24/7) service for the study related activities including delivery and cord blood collection from study enrolled participant and processing of sample
∎ Administer investigational product (vaccine/placebo)
∎ Liaise with other project staff and provide support to them as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate having working experience in community and/or hospital-based research will be given preference
∎ Competency requirement:
∎ Assessment of newborn and under five children
∎ Blood collection from newborn/infant and adults
∎ Assist normal vaginal delivery
∎ Additional requirement:
∎ Should be able to work with a team
∎ Should be able to communicate effectively
∎ Must have innovative thinking skills
∎ Should have a drive to learn and solve problems

Salary:
∎ 20,046/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
