Education:

∎ Working experience in any nutrition project.
∎ Skill and Competencies:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments to identify individuals at risk for malnutrition.
∎ Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on assessed needs and goals.
∎ Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups, covering topics such as healthy eating, meal planning, and food budgeting.
∎ Monitor progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the project, such as physicians, dietitians, and social workers.
∎ Document all nutrition-related activities in patient/client records.
∎ Stay up-to-date on current nutrition research and best practices.
∎ Participate in project-related meetings and trainings.
∎ She should also be able to provide support and education to the patient’s family, answering questions and giving vital instructions on how to care for the patient.
∎ Assessments of nutritional status of beneficiary.
∎ Identify individuals at risk for malnutrition.
∎ Provide health care options, medications, and treatment plans regarding nutrition.
∎ Counseling and health care education.
∎ Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
∎ Stay current with advances in health care options, medications, and treatment plans regarding nutrition.
