Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Healthcare Services:Assist the Medical officer for providing basic medical care and treatment to students, faculty, and staff.Conducting health assessments and screenings, such as blood pressure checks, vaccinations, and basic lab tests.
∎ Emergency Response:Responding to medical emergencies on campus and administering first aid when necessary.Coordinating with emergency services and ensuring a rapid response to critical incidents.
∎ Health Education:Promoting health awareness through campaigns and informational materials.Conducting health education programs and workshops for students and staff on topics such as nutrition, stress management, and substance abuse prevention.
∎ Collaboration and Referrals:Refer students to specialists or external healthcare providers when necessary.Counselling services and disability support, to ensure holistic student care.
∎ Compliance and Regulations:Contributing to policies and programs aimed at improving campus health and safety.Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records for students and employees.
∎ Patient Advocacy:Advocating for the health and well-being of students and employees within the university community.Serving as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and healthcare providers.
∎ Health Records and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records for students, Faculty and staff.
