Role Summary:
The Multimedia & Creative Content Developer is a hybrid leader and practitioner responsible for the end-to-end visual identity of the brand. This role combines hands-on technical expertise (Graphic Design, Advanced Video Editing, Motion Graphics) with strategic oversight (Digital Marketing, Social Media) and team leadership (acting as the Lead, Manager, and Head of Motion & Design). They ensure that every piece of content—whether static or motion—is not only visually stunning but also optimized for performance across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Motion & Design Vision
Head of Motion & Design: Serve as the final authority on all motion graphics and video design output, setting the creative direction and visual standards for the department.
Brand Storytelling: Develop a cohesive visual narrative across all video and motion assets, ensuring alignment with the broader brand identity and marketing goals.
Innovation & Trends: Lead the adoption of new styles, techniques, and technologies in motion design and video production to keep the brand at the forefront of digital content.
2. Team & Project Management
Video & Motion Design Manager: Oversee the workflow of the video and motion graphics pipeline, assigning projects, managing deadlines, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Quality Control: Review all team outputs to ensure they meet creative briefs, technical specifications, and brand guidelines.
Freelancer/Vendor Coordination: Manage external creatives, animators, or production houses when scaling up content needs.
3. Creative Production & Execution
Motion Graphics Lead: Take ownership of complex motion graphics projects, creating high-end animations, kinetic typography, and visual effects for campaigns, ads, and social media.
Advanced Video Editing: Lead post-production efforts for key video assets, including color grading, sound design, pacing, and narrative structuring (using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
Graphic Design: Produce static visual assets (social media creatives, thumbnails, presentation decks, banners) that complement and support video content.
Storyboarding & Pre-Visualization: Create detailed storyboards and animatics to guide video production and ensure alignment with the creative vision before filming or editing begins.
4. Digital & Social Media Integration
Platform Optimization: Adapt video and motion content for specific digital platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta Ads) to maximize engagement and reach.
Performance-Driven Content: Collaborate with the Digital & Social Media Marketing team to analyze content metrics (views, retention, CTR, conversions) and refine creative strategies based on data.
Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to conceptualize and execute video-first campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, or sales.
5. Technical Mastery & Hands-On Contribution
Software Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert on the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant tools.
Asset Management: Maintain an organized library of digital assets, including stock footage, music, templates, and project files for easy team access.
Production Support: Provide hands-on support during pre-production and filming (lighting, camera operation, direction) as needed for small-scale in-house shoots.
