Responsibilities & Context:
  • Collaborate with Production and R&D teams to ensure moulded components meet quality and performance standards; make necessary process adjustments.

  • Deliver moulded components on time to support production and R&D schedules.

  • Coordinate with external vendors for the development of moulds, tooling, and fixtures to ensure high-quality output.

  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams during the concept, prototyping, and product release phases.

  • Draft and execute mould validation protocols.

  • Review and implement modifications to mould drawings and specifications.

  • Manage, source, and track mould spare parts inventory.

  • Support new and existing programs aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency in a clean and safe environment.

  • Plan and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for technical support activities throughout the facility.

  • Supervise maintenance personnel and activities as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Provide process control and troubleshooting support for production machinery.

  • Develop and manage repair and maintenance budgets; identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Evaluate equipment needs for new programs and recommend capital investments.

  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage the training and performance of subordinates.

  • Actively participate in safety audits, inspections, meetings, and training sessions.

  • Analyze machine downtime and implement corrective actions to improve uptime and productivity.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Technical Head.

  • Ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

  • Generate analytical reports for review by the Technical Head.

  • Demonstrate initiative in continuously developing and improving departmental capabilities.
