Master’s degree in Statistics/Social Work or any related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation or similar roles, preferably in development projects.

• Experience using M&E tools, data analysis, and report writing is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel) and M&E methodologies.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Knowledge of real-time data collection is an advantage.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with the local context of Tea Garden and Haor areas is an advantage.

About ASED HABIGONJ:

The Association for Socio-Economic Development (ASED HABIGONJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable development initiatives. With financial assistance from Childaid Network, Germany, ASED HABIGONJ will implement the 3 years Enhance Quality and Inclusive Primary Education (EQUIP) in Tea Garden and Haor Area Project in Bahubal upazila under Habiganj district. The EQUIP project aims to improve the quality and inclusivity of primary education for marginalized children in the Tea Garden and Haor regions of Habiganj. We are seeking a skilled Monitoring Officer for the EQUIP Project, which focuses on advancing quality and inclusive primary education and community engagement.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks for the EQUIP project.

• Conduct regular field visits to assess project activities, progress, and outcomes.

• Develop and maintain databases to track project indicators and ensure timely data collection.

• Prepare and present comprehensive monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify challenges and provide actionable recommendations for improving project performance.

• Collaborate with the project team to integrate feedback from monitoring activities into project planning.

• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies in all monitoring processes.
