Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect, organize, and maintain sales-related data.
∎ Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of sales data.
∎ Develop and manage databases, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality specific to sales operations in the food industry.
∎ Analyze sales data and generate reports to support business decisions within the Sales Department.
∎ Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to management.
∎ Interpret data and make recommendations based on findings.
∎ Create dashboards and visualizations to present sales data insights.
∎ Monitor and maintain the performance of information systems related to sales operations.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to sales data and information systems.
∎ Coordinate with the Sales Department for system upgrades and maintenance as needed.
∎ Identify and implement improvements to sales data management processes within the food industry sector.
∎ Work with the Sales team to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access) and basic database management software (e.g., SQL).
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to handle large volumes of data and maintain attention to detail.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Basic understanding of food industry sales processes and data flow.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
