Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Master's degree in psychology or relevant field

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ In collaboration with the MHPSS team to design and facilitate psychoeducation sessions for the communities, based on identified and emerging needs.
∎ Organize and conduct interactive sensitization, awareness raising and informal educational activities for the community.
∎ Develop and adapt key awareness raising messages related to MHPSS.
∎ Coordinate with other members of the team the most efficacious ways to convey those messages to the affected communities.
∎ Coordinate with Project Assistant and other members of the team the integration of mental health considerations in community-based activities along the full spectrum of the intervention pyramid.
∎ Provide training sessions in PFA, stress management and basic psychosocial skills to community members and volunteers.
∎ Identify and refer people with severe mental disorders, in coordination with social worker and other team members.
∎ In collaboration with the community focal point, supervise volunteers and support them in the community-based activities.
∎ Organize support and discussion groups and forums.
∎ To maintain appropriate records/database of all conducted MHPSS activities.
∎ To perform other duties as may be needed and agreed with the Project Assistant and MHPSS Officer.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years of previous experiences in MHPSS
∎ At least 1 years of previous experiences in providing services to displaced populations, migrants, refugees, or conflict affected populations
∎ Significant experience in providing psychoeducation to community members and non-specialists
∎ Experience in capacity building activities is an advantage.

Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 49504.08
