Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a merchandising strategy that aligns with the company's goals, market trends, and customer preferences for Decathlon Buyer.
∎ Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, and source high-quality products.
∎ Pricing and Profitability: Determine pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market, considering factors such as cost, competition, and perceived value.
∎ Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and potential risks, adjusting the merchandise strategy accordingly.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of merchandising professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive individual and collective success.
∎ Production Follow up and problem-solving skills of production in different product. (E.g. C&S/Sweater/Woven.)
∎ Data analysis and summarizing skills.
∎ Experience on Japan/Asia Market.
