- Diploma in Pharmacy from Govt. approved institution.
- Should have license from Bangladesh pharmacy council.
- At least 2 years experience of working as a medicine dispenser preferably in an emergency response project/programme.
- Ability to understand prescriptions.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving competencies.
- Good communication and social skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for:
- Dispense Medicines according to prescription.
- Organize and manage the medicine store including the date of expiry of medicine.
- Communicate with Pharmacist and Medical Officer.
- Ensure Patients' Safety.
- Ensure patient’s understanding of medical prescriptions.
- Stock Management.
- Maintain diligently all records including Stock Register & Challans.
Activities:
- Ensure quality of medicines provided to patients.
- Ensuring that the provider of medicines is within the law.
- Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
- Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
- Ensure stock management and proper record keeping.
- Ensure medicine shelf life.
