Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
Sara Hospital & Diagnostic is seeking skilled and experienced Medical Technologists (Blood Bank) to ensure safe and quality blood services for patients. The selected candidates will be responsible for blood collection, preservation, testing, and report preparation.
Job Responsibilities
Collect, preserve, and test blood samples in the blood bank.
Must have the ability and experience to collect blood samples from newborn babies (one day old) and elderly patients.
Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and other required tests.
Maintain proper storage of blood and keep accurate records.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of blood reports.
Maintain equipment, refrigerators, and other blood bank tools properly.
Follow hospital policies and health regulations strictly to ensure safe blood supply.
Work in close coordination with doctors, nurses, and other staff.
