Educational qualifications:

1.       MBBS from a recognized medical college.

2.       Valid BMDC registration is mandatory.

FCPS Part-I / MS Part-I in Orthopaedics preferred (optional but added advantage).

Experience & requirements:

1.       1–4 years of experience in Orthopaedics / Trauma / Spine unit preferred.

Required skills: Clinical knowledge in musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions, good patient communication & counselling skills, ability to work under pressure and handle emergency cases, strong documentation and reporting ability, teamwork with consultants and allied health professionals.

Job responsibilities:

1.       Assist consultants in diagnosing and treating spine and orthopaedic patients.

2.       Manage OPD, IPD, and Emergency patients under supervision of senior physicians.

3.       Take detailed medical histories, perform examinations, and prepare clinical notes.

4.       Monitor admitted patients, update progress notes, and ensure proper documentation.

5.       Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

6.       Assist in surgical procedures (if required) and ensure operation theatre preparedness.

7.       Provide on-call duty support as scheduled.

8.       Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and maintain hospital protocol.

9.       Communicate with patients & relatives regarding treatment updates and instructions.

Collaborate with nursing teams, physiotherapists, and other clinical staff.
