· Keep clear and accurate medical records.
· Ensure the weekly updates to the management.
· Must be Computer skill especially in MS Word and MS Excel.
· Must have excellent communication skill both in Bengali and in English.

Position Summary
A Medical Officer at Medi Aid General Hospital plays a key role in providing clinical care, assisting specialists, and supporting smooth medical operations within their assigned department. The position involves direct patient care, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic planning, and close coordination with consultants and healthcare teams to ensure quality medical service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
· Perform comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical examination, and formulation of differential diagnoses.
· Provide medical care and treatment under the supervision of the assigned Specialist/Consultant.
· Monitor inpatients and report any significant clinical changes to senior medical staff.
· Ensure timely ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests and act upon the results.
· Prepare and maintain accurate, detailed medical records, reports, and discharge summaries.
Operational Support
· Assist in daily ward/cabin rounds, outpatient clinics, procedures, and emergency calls as required.
· Manage departmental activities in the absence of the specialist & other MO.
· Coordinate scheduling of patients, investigations, and procedures in collaboration with nursing and administrative staff.
· Support infection control, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives within the department.
Emergency & Critical Care Support
· Provide emergency medical care, initial resuscitation, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
· Be available for shifts in critical units depending on hospital roster.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during emergency interventions and handovers.
Communication & Documentation
· Maintain effective communication with patients, attendants, and colleagues.
· Ensure compliance with hospital documentation policies, including treatment notes, consent forms, and medical reports.
· Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and clinical audits.
Ethical and Professional Practice
· Uphold patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
· Practice medicine in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
· Maintain a respectful and cooperative attitude toward all hospital staff and patients.
· Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and hospital-based learning opportunities.
