∎ At least (2-3) years in the field of Health Sector (MNH);
∎ Age may be relaxed for highly deserving candidates;
∎ Good Knowledge and technical experience in MNH service and technical guidance to the field team;
∎ Coordinator at the project-supported union-level public health facilities;
∎ Ensure day-to-day quality of union-level facility-based services like ANC, Delivery & PNC, with emphasis on infection prevention and control;
∎ Willing to regular field movement and motorcycle driving;
∎ Good Interpersonal skills relationship with others and communication skills;
∎ Ability to work under stressful situations and meet deadlines;
∎ Willing to travel extensively within the RDRS operational area and beyond the ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure technical guidelines and protocols are implemented as directed by SCI MNH technical team, led by MNH Coordinator at the project-supported union-level public health facilities.
∎ Ensure daily quality of union-level facility-based services like ANC, Delivery & PNC, with emphasis on Infection Prevention & Control.
∎ Ensure the quality of satellite clinic services as per set guidelines and protocols.
∎ Facilitate availability of required medicines/ medical supplies/ equipment from government/project sources.
∎ Share key findings and progress on quality assurance at the sub-district level monthly meeting.
∎ Follow up on recommendations from documented JSV / Mentorship findings for Union-level facilities.
∎ Identify capacity-building scopes for union-level service providers in coordination with Officer- Capacity Building and support to prepare the capacity-building plan led by MNH Coordinator.
∎ Co-facilitate training for union-level service providers and supervisors as necessary
∎ Monitor the quality of training sessions and share recommendations for further improvement
∎ Make post-training follow-up visits using the checklist and provide on-the-job support to union-level service providers.
∎ Liaison with administrative and technical supervisors of union-level public health facilities for planning and project implementation.
∎ Keep the District Coordinator and Technical Specialist- MNH informed about government HR vacancies/absenteeism at the union level.
∎ Participate in meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops as required by the program and organization
∎ Regularly visits union-level facilities following a roaster.
∎ Document key observations and action points.
∎ Present key observations and action points in the monthly district-level meeting.
∎ Lead periodic monitoring of logistics management at the union level.
∎ Assist project-deployed midwives in documenting lessons learned.
∎ Provide supportive supervision to both projects deployed Midwives and Ayas.
∎ Ensure facility readiness at district and sub-district level as per technical guidelines/ protocols, to ensure quality of service and for showcasing project activities to key stakeholders.
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor as and when necessary
∎ Always follow organizational and donor policies and procedures.

∎ This position will be based in the District Office of Strengthening the Maternal and Neonatal Health System in Rangpur Bangladesh (Jononi) in Rangpur/Lalmonirhat with at least 80% field visits. S/he will work closely with all key program team members and relevant MOH&FW focal at the sub-district and union levels.
