Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the medical team in the hospital.
∎ Treatment and patient management.
∎ Planning and implementation.
∎ Effective operation of Ship Hospital.
∎ Develop action plan.
∎ Collaboration and coordination.
∎ Ensuring quality and functionality of all programs.
∎ Perform OPD Consultation.
∎ Management of patients for any emergency and provide treatment.
∎ Active participation in planning and implementation of heath programs.
∎ Develop action plan of secondary health camp programs and special visits as per health program requirement.
∎ Managing and facilitating the activities of regular primary & secondary health care, health camp, lab service, O.T service and others.
∎ Collaboration and co-ordination with GO, NGO, community leaders and private sector and represent Friendship.
∎ Create strong image of Friendship to other stakeholders.
∎ Regularly conduct clinical sessions for the medical staff and ensure quality services.
∎ Develop estimated budget for program activities.
∎ Review monthly medicine requisition, health camp medicine requisition, lab and x ray reagent and logistics requisition, dental and OT supplies requisition and send to head office.
∎ Ensure infection prevention protocol is maintained by the medical team.
∎ Ensure Friendship Three-tire health model is effectively implemented.
∎ Train medical staff in various clinical aspects.
∎ Ensure quality checklist are properly monitored and submitted.
∎ Documentation and reporting.
∎ Effective communication, cooperation and collaboration with outreach components (satellite clinic, paramedics & FCMs).
∎ Teambuilding and fostering the team effort.
∎ As a member of the project team, work should be done in coordination with colleagues to ensure high quality support to the projects and excellence within the organization.
∎ Conduct safeguarding training and provide monthly report to HR.
∎ Any work set within the reason and means by the authority of the organization.
∎ Appropriately follow safeguarding policy and code of conduct of the organization and train the staff about safeguarding policy.
∎ MBBS degree from recognized Medical College. MPH degree will be counted as added competence.
∎ Should have valid BM&DC Registration certificate.
∎ 5 years of relevant experience. (Experience in public health, specially NGO and Community Clinic management and operations)·
∎ Excellent communication skill, leadership skill and ability lead team.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English with strong interpersonal skill.
∎ High commitment & motivation to work in remote places specially in riverine areas.
