Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in journalism / Mass Communication or other relevant qualification. An academic degree in social science with strong relevant experience in internal and external communications and media engagement can be considered.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in visibility and brand management, ability to identify branding risks and suggest appropriate solutions.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Experience of writing or developing, analytical features in English or Bengali newspaper/s.
∎ Understanding of the development context of Bangladesh and the Asia region, as well as rights-based development approaches are essential.
∎ Fully technically competent in internal communication, media engagement, social media, and public campaigning.
∎ Willing and able to adapt priorities in order to respond to changing demands.
∎ Some experience in budget management and procurement to ensure quality of communication products.
∎ Strong experience in managing relationships with mainstream and new media.
∎ Proven experience in managing media visits and ability to travel to remote areas of Bangladesh as needed.
∎ Management experience strongly preferred.
∎ Experience at an international organization is desirable.
∎ Must demonstrate commitment and sensitivity to gender and diversity issues

Salary:
∎ As per Oxfam national C2 pay band with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave & insurance, etc.
