Responsibilities & Context:

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and ensure timely repairs.

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime.

• Monitor workshop operations and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

• Maintain maintenance records, service histories, and repair reports.

• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of required parts and materials.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies.

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Coordinate with operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime.

• Supervise mechanics and technicians and provide technical guidance when required.

• Analyze maintenance costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to fleet maintenance and engineering operations.
