∎ Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- MEAL & Safe Guarding Officer for the "Increased Resilience for Women through the Provision of WASH Services" Project.
∎ Job Title: MEAL & Safe Guarding Officer
∎ Reports to: Director
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A MEAL & Safe Guarding Officer will be responsible for the following tasks (Including but not limited to):
∎ Collaborating with the Project Coordinator to design, plan and execute the M&E framework of the project
∎ Ensuring proper preservation of project-related Monitoring and Evaluation documents, reports, publications, and other relevant materials
∎ Demonstrating knowledge of qualitative and quantitative M&E systems, large database management, and monitoring of access to resources, services
∎ Managing M&E/MIS database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks of monitoring data
∎ Preparing monthly, event, and other data reports as necessary
∎ Assisting with baseline surveys using tools and managing data for quality report writing
∎ Assisting with research and publication under the project
∎ Developing annual reports for donor and NGO Affairs bureau
∎ Creating success stories/case studies
∎ Monitoring and evaluating all staff field-level activities
∎ Ensure the implementation of all activities of the project qualitatively and quantitatively
∎ Work with relevant committees, and working groups to implement program activities following the work plan, implementation in the schedule, and Monitoring & Evaluation plan
∎ Submission of weekly/monthly activity plan and report.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ensure the safeguarding of project staff through training and adherence to policies
∎ Stay informed of safeguarding legislation and guidelines and share information as per policy
∎ Attend external and internal safeguarding meetings, training and maintain accurate records
∎ Contribute to the design and implementation of safeguarding systems and best practices
∎ Preservation of organizational files and resources
∎ Any other assignments of organizational management
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation
∎ Skilled in using apps-based data collection tools such as KOBO and ODK.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
∎ Experienced in conducting baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations.
∎ Previous experience in conducting research.
∎ Expert in field reporting and documentation in English.
∎ Must have experience in implementing rights-based, advocacy, and campaign-related projects.
∎ Fluent in spoken and written English.
∎ Have a valid motorcycle driving license
∎ Employment Status: Contractual- Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)
