Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master Degree, preferably in Statistics/Social Science or other relevant discipline.
∎ Note: In case of candidates with more experience; age and educational qualification would be relaxed.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
∎ Key Area 1: Implement monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) strategy and approach (30% of time)
∎ Ensure proper functioning of project Monitoring Evaluation Accountability Learning system according to MEAL plan,
∎ Review the project log frame with MEAL plan of Dressmann and LNS project.
∎ Assist to develop indicator tracking system of each project.
∎ Assist to develop Quality Benchmark/MEAL tools of each project.
∎ Day to day data collection, data analysis and monitoring reporting covering both quantitative and qualitative aspect.
∎ Assist to ensure quality of data for Dressmann and LNS project that will contribute to quality report preparation.
∎ Assist to setting up accountability mechanism of Dressmann and LNS project.
∎ Track the DIP progress and assist to PC to write quarterly/annual progress report.

∎ Key Area 2: Design and implement study, research, evaluation and learning initiatives for the project (30% of time)
∎ Assist to data collection of Baseline, Endline evaluation and any need based research/study.
∎ Assist to cross check of the data of the said study.
∎ Document and capture of promising learning, practices, challenges and success stories.

∎ Key Area 3: Data analysis and reporting (20% of time)
∎ Collect data using Quality Benchmark Checklist and maintain QB database and coordinate with respective colleague in timely completion of agreed actions.
∎ Provide regular support to project team in the areas of information sharing and feedback/ complaint mechanism element of accountability.
∎ Maintain Accountability Action Plan Tracker and coordinate with respective colleague in timely completion of agreed actions.

∎ Key Area 4: Capacity building of Education Facilitators (10% of time)
∎ Facilitate any learning exercise/ event of Dressmann and LNS project in the field level.
∎ Facilitate the process of ensuring proper documentation, dissemination & application of learning from the field.

∎ Key Area 5: Other ad-Hoc tasks (10% of time)
∎ Collate MEAL data and ensure proper storage for report preparation at different times.
∎ Prepare Monthly, quarterly and annual MEAL report for the project and share them with project team for decision making.
∎ Compile and store all the Action Plan Tracker and notify respective point of contact as follow up of actions.
∎ Skills:
∎ Knowledge and experience on basic statistics, research methodology, MIS and report writing.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali.
∎ Skilled in data management and analysis.
∎ Should have ability to interpret data and report writing skills in English.
∎ Should be proficient in computer operation, particularly, in MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS-PowerPoint.
∎ Strong ability to deal with beneficiaries, community, local elites and government officials
∎ Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation and reporting
∎ Attitude:
∎ To work in team.
∎ To protect children in connection of the project.
∎ To be non-discriminatory and gender sensitive.

∎ Age 30 to 45 years

∎ Job related knowledge:
∎ MEAL Officer of Dressmann and LNS project is primary responsible for track the DIP with immediate results that allows staff to excel in program operations, outcomes, and impacts and to meet internal and external stakeholders' needs at multiple levels. This position will also ensure that monthly MIS, quarterly and annual narrative report is grounded in collecting systematic evidence which will be used to measure and monitor progress (routine monitoring) and assist to impact (Baseline and Endline evaluation) study. This person will closely work with Deputy Manager-MEAL, E&L, PDQ of SCI and Focal person of Partner will be responsible for synchronizing donor MEAL Framework between Project and Partner.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 25000 - 27083 (Monthly)
