∎ Proven track record in both qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis & reporting.
∎ Experience in working with international development organizations, especially UN agencies, is highly desirable.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (SPSS, Excel, STATA, Inform etc.).
∎ Skills in data visualization through power BI and GIS mapping (ArcGIS/QGIS).
∎ Strong reporting and presentation skills, with experience in creating fact sheets, graphs, and dashboards.
∎ Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
∎ Willingness to travel extensively to remote and hard-to-reach locations.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities in line with UNICEF's requirements.
∎ Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and processes to track program progress and assess qualitative and quantitative outcomes across thematic areas (WASH, Nutrition, Child Protection, Education, SBC, PSEA).
∎ Conduct field visits to camps, host communities, and Bhasan Char to monitor project monitoring data collection, verify data, and assess the quality of data.
∎ Analyze, and interpret data using tools such as Excel, SPSS, STATA, Inform, and GIS software to inform program decisions.
∎ Generate comprehensive monitoring reports, dashboards, fact sheets, and visual summaries of key findings for submission to UNICEF PMR and program teams.
∎ Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and risks in program delivery and propose evidence-based solutions to enhance results and effectiveness.
∎ Facilitate data collection training and capacity building for field staff and enumerators to ensure standardized and ethical data gathering.
∎ Ensure adherence to ethical standards, including confidentiality, informed consent, and PSEA protocols during all MEAL activities.
∎ Perform other relevant tasks as requested in alignment with the TPM objectives.
∎ Collaborate with community groups, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure inclusive participation and feedback loops.
∎ Document and report field findings, lessons learned, and best practices to inform future interventions.
∎ Prepare a qualitative report with detail analysis is must.
∎ Job Context:
∎ As part of its partnership with UNICEF, EIMS is seeking a qualified and experienced MEAL Expert who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes for the UNICEF-supported interventions in Cox’s Bazar. This role requires close coordination with UNICEF’s PMR (Planning Monitoring and Reporting) and sectoral teams to ensure data quality, analysis, and actionable insights in developing tools, monitoring framework for continuous program improvement and accountability to affected populations.
