Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Must be ITP qualified.
∎ CA/ACCA/CMA partly qualified will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To handle VAT & Income Tax related work of the company.
∎ To monitor Tax and VAT matters of different concerns of the Company to ensure the measures that comply with all fiscal laws including Income Tax, VAT & Company Law.
∎ To keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT/Tax regulations and their potential impact on the organization.
∎ To monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ To prepare &submit monthly VAT returns to the concerned VAT authority.
∎ To provide TDS & VDS certificates against deduction from parties.
∎ To ensure proper preparation and submission of VAT & Income Tax Return (Company & Individual Level).
∎ To manage all VAT & Income Tax related queries and filings in the right manner.
∎ To ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act.
∎ To ensure proper documentation, control, and maintenance of financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose), and VAT authorities.
∎ To ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, VDS, VAT & AIT & other hearing-related documents.
∎ To prepare & filing of Tax& VAT returns as per Income Tax Ordinance/Rules/Act & VAT Act/Rules.
∎ Hearing, Assessment, Appeal, Error, Tribunal, High Court Level matters.
∎ Comprehensive work experience in assessment, Submission of documents before DCT for hearing and assessment, Analysis of grounds for appeal before Commissioner Appeal/Tribunal and High Court for Income Tax Ref. Application ITRA.
∎ To deal with Tax & VAT authorities in person at the DCT, Appeal, and Tribunal Levels.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ 3-4 years of managerial experience in related works, preferred in the telecommunication, distribution, Enterprise solution, IT & ISP sector.
