∎ MEP Group is a well-known Electric and Electronic product manufacturing Company which is located at Barishal. MEP was established in 1974 as a private company at BSCIC Industrial State, Barishal, with factory located in Barishal and corporate office in Bijoy Nagar, Dhaka. MEP a growing company is currently manufacturing near about 1,600 types of electrical and electronics items. To keep pace with its growth, MEP is looking for young professionals who can comply with regulatory and business requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Tax planning for companies’ tax files as well as directors’ tax files and necessary action plan required to be execute timely.
∎ Ensuring timely submission of Income Tax returns along with the required documents.
∎ Attend hearing with The DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment.
∎ Review all financial records, systems and control process of the company as per accounting standards and tax laws.
∎ Deliver a full range of Tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984.
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and consultants.
∎ Preparation of statements for annual Tax return and Tax audit.
∎ Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
∎ Monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer within stipulated deadlines.
∎ Preparation & submission of withholding tax return u/s 75A.
∎ Provide TDS & VDS certificates against deduction from parties.
∎ Manage all Corporate Income Tax and RJSC related queries and filings in the right manner.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, VDS & AIT & other hearing-related documents.
∎ Submission of Schedule X, Schedule XII, and other necessary documents to RJSC.
∎ Ensure timely payment of the advanced taxes with necessary supporting documents.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar operational environment.
∎ Male candidates are preferred due to job nature.
