Responsibilities & Context:
∎ As the head of audit, you will be working in the MEP Internal Audit team.  You will serve the Company by assessing key business processes as well as governance, risk management and the control environment within all business entities.  Assess the Company's business processes and internal controls for identifying and making recommendations to management for assisting them to address business risks as well as regulatory compliance. This role requires traveling between plants & business units within the country.
∎ Develop and implement an internal audit strategy aligned with company objectives.
∎ Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Lead audit teams in executing financial & operational audits across all departments.
∎ Identify weaknesses in processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and risk mitigation.
∎ Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
∎ To supervise the audit program & lead the assigned audit team and take the responsibility of planning, executing and managing the audit program.
∎ Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for statutory audits and compliance matters.
∎ Supervise the checking stock status and variation, cash book and status of physical cash, all kinds of challans, cash summary, and vouchers of all expenses.
∎ Supervise the checking of all kinds of vouchers (e.g. received vouchers, payment vouchers, and purchase vouchers), salary and wage sheets, petty cash statements of the corporate office and all branches.
∎ Keep up to date with the best audit practices, industry regulations, and risk management trends.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
