Responsibilities & Context: Job Context
We are seeking a skilled accounting/finance professional to join our team and facilitate our financial processes by managing daily accounting tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order and transparency in our financial operations and will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements and reports as a significant aspect of their daily responsibilities. The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of our finance value chain, enabling us to have a comprehensive understanding of our financial condition. Job Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist the Board in reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports in hard and soft forms.
- Prepare monthly/yearly closings in hard and soft forms.
- Contribute in other projects, as assigned.
