  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (Minimum 3 years).
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Finance Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills, MS Office proficiency, and experience with accounting software and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to direct and supervise staff.

Company Overview:

Sunergy Technologies Ltd. has been implementing various projects at government and non-government level since 2015 for the use and development of renewable energy. At present, besides the use and development of renewable energy, various projects have been undertaken for the expansion and development of the Telecom sector and the development and urbanization of rural infrastructure.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated person to oversee our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, and treasury functions.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Prepare and file VAT & Tax returns, ensuring compliance with vat & tax regulations.

  • Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable/receivable, and conduct cash forecasting.

  • Perform revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and debt activity monitoring.

  • Coordinate and complete annual audits and external audits.

  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as necessary.

  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Meet financial accounting objectives and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

  • Any other duties assigned by the authority.
