Experience:
Experience in handling bulk production in the apparel (Denim) industry is required.
Strong knowledge of denim washing techniques, chemical processes, and quality control.
Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly washing practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage teams and ensure compliance with international standards.
Must be willing to work in a factory environment
Manage shade band preparation to ensure garments meet wash specifications.
Manage shade band preparation within lead time with buyer requirements and comments.
Conduct tests for color fastness, shrinkage, and wash quality before shade band submission.
Coordinate with QA to address any wash-related defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain accurate records of pre-bulk washes, shade approvals, and process parameters.
Manage confirmation lots to ensure washed garments before bulk washing.
Verify washing process parameters and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
Coordinate with production and QA teams to schedule and monitor confirmation lots.
Ensure documentation of confirmation results, corrective actions, and approvals.
Develop and implement washing SOPs for denim and non-denim garments, including dry and wet processes, to replicate in bulk production.
Oversee bulk washes, garment finishing, and sampling to achieve desired effects like distressing, fading, and premium finishes.
Monitor chemical store handling, optimize resource usage, and ensure eco-friendly practices align with company sustainability goals.
Identify and resolve quality issues promptly, supporting comprehensive quality control from sampling to final inspection.
Collaborate with mechanics for preventive maintenance of washing equipment to minimize downtime.
Prepare reports on production metrics, efficiency improvements, and compliance with environmental and labor regulations.
