∎ At least 10 year(s)

Delivery Management, Transport Maintenance, Transport Management, Transport Operation
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Multinational Companies, Packaging Industry, Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Context:
∎ Must have practical experience in running a Transport Department in a reputed organization
∎ Hands-on experience in preparing Planning SOP and policies to meet Company`s requirements.
∎ Control delivery processes and schedule accordingly
∎ TPM knowledge will add value.
∎ Will report to Managing Director / CEO directly
∎ Under experienced personnel are strongly requested not to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
∎ To provide creative and consistent leadership to develop the transport team.
∎ Oversees vehicle management, including liaison with the fleet, safe vehicle operations, wheel security, monitors vehicle gross weights.
∎ Consistently promotes and adheres to Company policy, procedure, and legislation that is related to health and safety.
∎ To ensure rental bills are made logically and sign those bills.
∎ To ensure vehicles schedule repair and maintenance.
∎ To complete and maintain the safekeeping of vehicles.
∎ To check the daily pick & drop schedule of light vehicles.
∎ To work and generate innovative ideas to reduce transportation costs.
∎ To take permission from legal authority to run the cars on road.
∎ To ensure timely recruitment and settlement of the drivers and other staff of the transport department.
∎ To ensure that all drivers and operators have the correct, up-to-date driving license and other papers.
∎ To analyze vehicle requirements based on necessity and take permission from management to purchase new vehicles.
∎ To arrange selling of old vehicles as per company’s standard.
∎ To ensure smooth transport service to the supply and distribution team.
∎ To monitor forklift condition of factories.
∎ To ensure all drivers are receiving monthly incentives on time.
∎ To achieve the Departmental KPI setup by Management.
∎ Any other job as and when assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 39 to 49 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong e-mail communication
∎ Positive, Self-motivated, Honest, Dedicated, detail-oriented & possessing a good memory.
∎ Ability to manage and execute assignments with competing priorities.
∎ Expert knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Pivot Table, any ERP software
∎ Creative problem-solving skills.
∎ A team leader with a high level of dedication.
∎ Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
∎ Capable to handle multiple tasks & able to work under pressure
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
