Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 - 10 years’ work experience in Finance or Internal Audit preferably in INGO with 2 years management and staff supervision experience.
∎ Respect client’s needs and satisfactions, being solution focused; knowledge and understanding of customer satisfaction of services from the department, ability to review processes towards improvement.
∎ Experience in audit, financial management comprising both restricted and un-restricted funding mechanism involving complex donors and corporate regulations.
∎ Internal control: to provide guidance on internal control systems
∎ Solutions focused: Effectively analyzes information and provides effective and quality assured solutions Ability
∎ Information management: Understands the key information requirements needed to deliver an effective financial management service-effectively extracting, utilizing and communicating key financial management information
∎ Participatory management: Ability to involve the members of the team or communities in consensus building and decision making
∎ Technological savvy: Understands and uses different technological resources (computer, multimedia, internet, software)
∎ Facilitation skills: Effectively handles discussions with a focus on both groups and individuals to enrich participants’ understanding of particular subjects or situations, understands process and can diagnose group needs and intervenes accordingly
∎ People orientation and development: Coaches colleagues and clients and takes personal interest in the growth of people in the organization; counsels if necessary
∎ Networking and collaborating: Establishes good relationships with stakeholders; works cooperatively with other units, maintains networks outside the organization
∎ Willingness to work for and on behalf of the organization at the time of disaster within Plan working area or outside.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Role:
∎ All organisations, especially those operating across a wide variety of environments, with large budgets and working with a multiplicity of stakes, are exposed to risk, both internal and external. Plan International Bangladesh is no exception. To counter risks, we support a culture where staff and our partners collectively manage risks through timely identification, assessment, and response. Risk and Assurance Manager shall undertake a detailed planning process to determine where to focus its internal audit/review activity. This involves risk assessment of all operations within Plan International Bangladesh and its Partners. The focus of internal audit/review on the activities or processes shall be based on most significant to Plan International Bangladesh in terms of threats or risk.
∎ The Risk and Assurance Manager is responsible for strengthening financial operations and risk management of projects implemented jointly by Plan and Partner. This needs to be achieved through an engaging and collaborating approach that reflects equal partnership relationship and values. The post holder supports Plan Bangladesh by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness, internal control and govern process. The person will be responsible to manage/conduct individual/joint audit or review in different locations in the country in Plan and its Partners. The position will also assist that provides both investigative and preventative support in resolving a range of activities such as deception, bribery, corruption, wrong doing, CoC violation, false representation etc. both in Plan and its Partners.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is Tk. 147,106.00 to Tk. 183,883.00 (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
