Experience:
Proven track record in cookware manufacturing (aluminum, stainless steel, or cast iron) and coating processes.
Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
A proactive problem-solver who spends as much time on the factory floor as they do behind a desk.
Process & Production Optimization
Develop and implement SOPs for gravity die-casting, forging, and sheet metal pressing, ensuring consistent quality in cookware production.
Conduct Time & Motion studies to identify bottlenecks in assembly and coating lines, improving line efficiency and throughput.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize scrap, especially in PTFE and ceramic coating processes.
Work closely with R&D to ensure new cookware designs are manufacturable, cost-efficient, and meet production readiness standards.
Quality Control & Compliance
Oversee product testing including thermal shock, abrasion (cross-hatch), and handle fatigue to guarantee durability and performance.
Ensure all products comply with global food safety standards (FDA, LFGB, REACH) and internal quality benchmarks.
Lead root cause analysis for defects like “orange peel,” coating delamination, or base warping, using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Whys).
Audit and monitor raw material suppliers (aluminum alloys, stainless steel, coating chemicals) to maintain consistent quality from the source.
