Experience:
Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities.
7 –10 years of continuous service and relevant experience in Payroll Banking, Institutional Sales, or Retail Relationship Management in a reputed commercial bank.
Strong understanding of payroll systems, HR processes, and financial services.
Proven ability to meet business targets through client acquisition and portfolio management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The incumbent will lead the growth of the bank’s Payroll Banking Business by acquiring new payroll partnerships and deepening relationships with existing corporate and institutional clients. The role involves strategizing and executing payroll acquisition plans, ensuring smooth onboarding and salary disbursement, and driving cross-selling opportunities across the bank’s retail products. The position requires close coordination with Corporate and SME segments, as well as relevant divisions to deliver seamless payroll solutions, enhance client satisfaction, and achieve business profitability while maintaining full compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve set Payroll Business Targets.
Drive acquisition of new payroll partnerships with corporate organizations, institutions, and SMEs.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance payroll product penetration and retention.
Maintain strong relationships with key HR, Finance, and administrative personnel of partner organizations.
Oversee onboarding, account opening, and smooth salary disbursement processes.
Collaborate with Corporate Banking, and Digital Channels teams to design and implement tailored payroll propositions.
Track portfolio performance, analyze trends, and recommend initiatives for business growth and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies in all payroll-related activities.
Monitor service quality to ensure timely and error-free payroll transactions.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products (cards, investments, deposits, digital solutions) to payroll clients.
Prepare business reports, market insights, and client engagement plans for management review.
Any other task assigned by competent authority.
