Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise, implement and maintain Standard Operation procedure with Head Office and sourcing about the strategy and workflow of different departments.
∎ Assist to set up of local ERP system which aligns with Standard Operations for tracking, analysing and measuring Asia sourcing and Business Units performance.
∎ Overseas product information, quality requirements, cost and time frame of wide ranges of product information, quality requirements unites from products development to pre-production stage.
∎ Provide guidance for the setup and maintenance of fabric library
∎ Drive for continues improvements
∎ Add new factories subject to the approval from Head Office.
∎ Establish lead and facilities within Merchandising Team and Fabric team to manage enquires from product development to pre-production for Head Office
∎ Coach and development of Merchandising team
∎ Manage mills and garment vendors selection and allocation
∎ Monitor and analysing product development status captured at local ERP system
∎ Creates and manages all QCs who can conduct the Final Inspection and who are versatile enough to do inline inspections and other related tasks.
∎ Coordinates and schedules weekly plan and activities required for each QC team member to meet both delivery and quality standards meet both internal and external requirements.
∎ Monitors and advises performance of the quality management system, produces data and reports consequently, measuring against standards.
∎ Liaises with other departments such as Production and Logistics to ensure continuous flow of a bulk order in production.
∎ Controls and follow-up supplier's performance.
∎ Collaborates with the QA Technician, Laboratory, Merchandising, and the head office Product development team for any changes on the Technical Specifications.
∎ Ensures that any changes, procedures and processes are implemented, provides training, tools and techniques when necessary to enable others to achieve quality standards.
∎ Trouble shoots quality issues whenever needed.
∎ Approves Quality Assurance Certificates issuance after the necessary checks and balances against FIR's and lab test results.
∎ Manages launching of tests necessary for a product.
∎ Analyzes test results with the Lab-in-charge.
∎ Monitors updated records and information on the tests conducted for key performance indicators among suppliers and quality issues.
∎ Manages Quality Assurance Technician from resourcing, developing products.
∎ Provides guidance on proper communication with suppliers and Head office for necessary and reasonable execution of Technical Specifications.
∎ Gives feedbacks on all resourcing samples submission except for the new product developments
∎ Add new factory with head office approval's
∎ Any other tasks given by reporting

∎ Extensive (5 years+) merchandising and quality experience across different product categories across the region
∎ Strong communication skills and ability to interact both internally and externally with diverse profiles and cultures
∎ Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
∎ Outstanding result as a Manager
∎ Weekly and Monthly meeting with HQ to analyse the quality issues.
∎ Quality Assessment of new factory.
∎ Create proper strategy for supplier quality follow up for each supplier.
∎ Strong negotiation skills
