Responsibilities & Context:
- Lead and manage the legal department
- Provide strategic guidance and counsel on legal matters to executive leadership.
- Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts and legal documents.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
- Liaises and manage relationships with external legal counsel to ensure proper services within the required timeframe.
- Update management on relevant legal developments and ensure the company adapts accordingly.
- Lead internal training on legal issues and compliance.
- Support business decisions and other operational transactions from legal perspective.
