Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and execution of the Income Tax & VAT management system with a proper understanding of the business nature of the company so that the company can be tax-efficient and tax compliant also clear idea about personal income tax files.
∎ Maintain all VAT related register like (4.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 6.10 9.1) as per New VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016& keeping record in NBR approved VAT software and own MS-Excel.
∎ Maintain all the statutory compliance as per Income Tax Ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act, 2012 & and other rules and regulations.
∎ Computation of Income-tax based on the company's financial statements and other information related to the tax return and guided by NBR directives.
∎ To ensure the submission of Income Tax return in due time along with the required documents for that purpose. Responding to the letter or notice issued from the NBR regarding Tax & VAT related issues and taking a remedial course of action on the contentious issues (if any) within the purview of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 & VAT & SD Act 2012 and with consideration of accepted practice.
∎ Preparation of the documents as required in the notice issued from the DCT and VAT office and submission of the same.
∎ To attend the hearing and explain the position of the company before the DCT for the purpose of completion of the assessment.
∎ To give written representation or reply in the response to any query from the tax & VAT office in respect tax & VAT issues.
∎ Monitor withholding tax management system following NBR's latest directives.
∎ Submit Monthly VAT Return through online in due time.
∎ Submit Monthly, half-yearly withholding Tax Return in due time.
∎ Submit monthly & yearly employee Salary tax-related information to the respective tax office.
∎ Maintain VAT software as per law.
∎ Prepare price declaration copy (if any) and get them approved from the concerned VAT official.
∎ Prepare VAT rebate papers (if any) and get them approved from the concerned VAT official.
∎ Maintain all tax & VAT forms in accordance with NBR directives.
∎ Preparation and submission of VAT-related returns.
∎ Handling of Tax &VAT case related works.
∎ Handling of VAT audit conducted by VAT authorities.
∎ Liaison and closely work with Tax & VAT circle offices and solve the barriers related to company Tax & VAT issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s). Accounting and VAT, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax).
∎ Minimum 2 years direct experience in VAT &TAX department in a reputed organization. Those who have no direct experience in VAT & TAX department in a reputed organization not need to apply.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): FMCG or Paint Company's experience and Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Company Secretary/Share Division/Audit firms/credit rating agency/group of companies/ Multinational Company.
