Experience:

• Masters

• Graduation/Post-graduation with a major in Accounting from any recognized public or ‘A’ category private university.

• Partly Qualified CA / CMA / ACCA will be preferred.

• Candidates with prior experience in hotel or resort accounting will be given preference.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Resort

• Age 40 to 50 years
• Only Male

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial position.

• Experience in a minimum 4-star hotel (locally or abroad) will be considered an added advantage.

A renowned 5-star resort located in the greater Sylhet region invites applications from competent and experienced professionals for the position of Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead and manage its Accounts Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the Finance & Accounts Department.

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including:

• Cash control and cash flow management

• Bank payments and bank reconciliation

• Daily purchase control

• Monthly closing and financial statements

• Preparation and submission of financial reports to the Managing Director

• Regulate and monitor payments to credit suppliers.

• Ensure timely collection of dues from credit customers as per billing schedules.

• Develop and implement effective cost control and cost minimization strategies.

• Ensure full compliance with:

• VAT laws

• Income Tax laws

• RJSC regulatory requirements, including preparation and filing of annual returns

• Perform any other financial or accounting duties assigned by management from time to time.

• Salary: To be determined according to merit and experience.

• Compensation & other benefits: Two festival bonuses (each equivalent to one month’s basic salary)
