Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should be a Textile Technologist from a Reputed University with an Excellent Academic Track record.
∎ Candidate should have experience in handling reputed and renowned buyer's Fabric technical activities covering M&S, NEXT, Mayoral, Jeans Fritz, George etc, Specially for M&S

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and lead all the activities of Bulk Fabric at Garments Stage start from receiving the Head End submission from a Upcoming Bulk lot to release the Fabric in Categories form to Cutting section.
∎ Arrange Bulk Fabric Visual inspection (4-Point system) at mill prior to take delivery from Supplier's/Mill's side.
∎ Prepare Shade Blanket from Head End and categorized them into different groups within tolerance range of Wash Target Specially for Denim.
∎ Work closely with Laundry for the Wash recipe adjustment for different Shade group of same Fabric to wash them to make similar outcome from 2 different shade group of Denim Fabric.
∎ Test the Common Technical parameters of Fabric specially Shrinkage, Twisting, Tear Strength, Tensile Strength, Weight, Color Fastness etc and get Approved from Buyer's side
∎ Deal with buyer for all Fabric Approval issue in terms of Shade range Approval of Finished Garments as well as any kind of commercial tolerance of Physical parameter (if any)
∎ Conduct and Lead PP meeting with Fabric mill to ensure all the required Performance parameter to be meet as per Specific buyer's Required Qualities.
∎ Help Product development and Merchandising team for Risk Assessment of a particular Categories of Fabric to develop or select a Fabric to meet it's expected performance and production Feasibility/friendly during Cutting, Sewing, Washing stage to avoid any potential difficulties due to Fabric characteristic.
∎ For higher shrinkage Fabric need to decide marker Groups (within a certain shrinkage range) to keep the Finished Garments in tolerance limit.
∎ Should have good knowledge upon CSV & Running Shade issue of Fabric shade and help Cutting team to set the Line/Group Marker to cut those Fabric.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate should have minimum 5 years' experience in total in relevant field, and about 2 years' Experience in any reputed Garments Factory as Fabric Technologist.
∎ Candidate with Denim R&D background will be treated as added advantage.
∎ Candidate from BUTEX will be an added advantage.
