Responsibilities & Context:
This is a hands-on, heavy manufacturing factory role, not a desk job. You will be working in a fast-paced, 24/7, continuous chemical production environment involving hazardous materials (Caustic Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide). The role requires a strong daily physical presence on the plant floor, ensuring strict adherence to industrial safety protocols, wearing PPE, and managing real-time technical emergencies.
Troubleshooting of Emerson and ABB DCS system and maintenance of complex machinery loops connected equipment in process system. Elementary knowledge of P&ID, FEED and other controller-based process equipment.
Clear conception on instrument working principle to design and select most effective MOC for various process plant.
Expertise on electrical AUTOCAD drawing and prepare best suitable SLD and interconnection drawing for continuous modifiable as built.
Clear conception on working principle and design philosophy of diesel and generator, compressor, chiller, N2, ETP, WTP and other utility equipment.
Elementary knowledge of power generation, distribution of AC & DC power driven operational equipment, switchgear selection, safety consciousness and recent innovation on available electro technical gear.
In depth knowledge on explosion proof /potentially hazardous area equipment design, maintenance and selection.
Team player to drive technical team of multiple process plant day to day basis.
Good interpersonal communication skill is mandatory.
Record keeping, documentation, logging and trend analysis capability for various audit system.
Operation, maintenance and design capability of transformer, various type of drive, PCB card, PLC, processor and communication devices
