Responsibilities & Context:
1. Business Opportunity Intake & Evaluation
Receive and assess validated partnership opportunities handed over by the Networking & Partnerships team.
Conduct detailed business feasibility analysis — market sizing, demand assessment, competitive mapping, and financial modelling.
Define value proposition, business model canvas, revenue and cost structure for each opportunity.
Prepare structured business cases and investment memos for CBDO and senior leadership review.
2. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy & Planning
Design end-to-end GTM frameworks covering channel strategy, pricing, distribution, promotional mix, and phased launch plans.
Map consumer/customer segments and develop positioning strategies aligned to target market realities.
Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance for resource alignment and GTM readiness.
Engage with external partners (local and international) to align GTM timelines, commitments, and milestones.
3. Commercialization & Launch Execution
Lead cross-functional commercialization teams to execute new product/business launches on schedule and on budget.
Develop launch KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking mechanisms pre-launch and post-launch.
Manage stakeholder communication across internal functions and external partner organizations.
Facilitate regulatory, legal, and compliance steps required for new venture operationalization.
4. P&L Ownership & Financial Oversight
Own the P&L of each new business initiative from inception through the initial commercialization phase.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and cost budgets for new ventures.
Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Report P&L performance to CBDO with data-backed analysis and forward-looking recommendations.
5. Partner & Stakeholder Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with confirmed business partners (local and international) throughout the commercialization phase.
Represent AKIJ Resource in partnership meetings, negotiations, and performance review forums.
Work collaboratively with the Networking & Partnerships section on pipeline handover and knowledge transfer.
6. Business Transition to Sustainable Business Units
Define transition criteria and timelines for handing over matured ventures to permanent business unit structures.
Prepare comprehensive handover documentation including operational SOPs, partner agreements, and financial baselines.
