Accounts and Finance, Audit, General Banking, Income Tax and VAT, RJSC
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Shipping
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To verify (check for adequacy of documents & correctness of amounts due) the invoices received from suppliers or service providers with the contract and account the transactions in line with the laid down procedures and policies or as advised by HQ- Finance.
∎ To ensure that all Journal vouchers and payments processed / invoices accounted has the correct narrations as per the internal guidelines for easy understanding of transaction and to facilitate analysis.
∎ To prepare a check-list / chart listing out the major expenses / periodical payments made every month to facilitate preparation / accounting of provisional Journal entries.
∎ To supervise all Revenue Accounting related activities (sales, refunds, etc.) and ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to HOBU
∎ To control revenue document stock and ensure that all sales are matched by corresponding forms of payment (FOPs).
∎ To support the FAM (Financial Accounting Manual) comprehensively in the administration function, budget process and carry out monthly expense variance analysis.
∎ To carry out Bank Reconciliations and draft Weekly Bank Reports.
∎ To assist FAM in carrying out the Credit Control function, accurate recording of receivables and under collections and their prompt recovery.
∎ To identify cost-saving/wastage reduction opportunities and assist functional heads by providing them with appropriate financial information and analysis.
∎ To ensure compliance with all local government laws and regulations affecting payments.
∎ Assist the Group Finance Controller in all finance and accounting matters and ensure compliance with the corporate finance policy.
∎ Attend / address all queries from external / internal parties.
∎ Organize and facilitate annual audits and ensure audits are completed in a smooth and timely manner.
∎ Partnering with the business to support budget preparations, forecasting and Analysis of financial data and prepare progress report
∎ Managing the month-end process and monthly reconciliations.
∎ Overseeing General Ledger control accounts, Accounts Payable, Revenue, Cash, and Accounts Receivable.
∎ Statutory reporting and submission such as GST returns, FBT and BAS reporting.
∎ Fixed assets accounting relating to acquisition, write off, and disposal of assets ensuring compliance with delegated authority.
∎ Taxation and Vat
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years

∎ You must have excellent IT skills and be familiar with industry standard software, Tally ERP together with good Microsoft Office skills.
∎ Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in respective job scope and able to work under pressure.
∎ Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
∎ High attention to detail and accuracy
∎ Ability to direct and supervise
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
∎ Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
