Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Fashion Design Technology from any reputed University.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop theme from inspiration and prepare mood board for new collection;
∎ Ensure fore-planning of seasons/festivals and create design accordingly that suits;
∎ Source fabrics, accessories, and different embellishment for collection development;
∎ Analyze & Prepare designs from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs;
∎ Develop and supervise a pattern from cut to sewn into sample garments, including fitting, detailing and adaptations;
∎ Ensure proper quality control through testing lab;
∎ Examine sample garments on and off models; then modify designs to achieve desired effects;
∎ Create production sketches and technical package;
∎ Assist development team to create new pattern;
∎ Collaborate with design team, marketing team, merchandising team, suppliers and production team to achieve company goal;
∎ Ensure coordination with sales, buying and production teams to ensure items suit the customer, market and price points;
∎ Visit trade shows and manufacturers to source, select and buy fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
∎ Must be a Team player.
∎ Knack on new fashion and styling
∎ Proactive and calculative
∎ Good sense of humor
∎ Well Organized & self driven.
∎ Ability to achieve the target within short lead time.
