Educational Requirements:
∎ LL. B (Hons) or LL.M with work experience in corporate legal matters, contracts, secretarial and/or litigation.
∎ Experience in Court matters is preferable. Membership of bar council is preferred.
∎ Similar industry or factory based legal experience will be treated as an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide legal support services regarding contractual activities, including drafting, vetting, reviewing contracts, conduct negotiations and completion of contractual agreements or arrangements.
∎ To give legal opinion for land dispute resolution and investigate land related dispute.
∎ Provide advice on general corporate agreements such as memorandum of understanding, non-disclosure agreements, shareholder agreements, shares sales & purchase agreements, joint-venture and alliance (bilateral and multilateral) agreements
∎ Liaise & coordinate with external solicitors, in respect of all legal issues e.g., external opinions, vetting contracts, managing industrial relations and dispute matters.
∎ Execute & assist in preventive legal strategies, policies, and compliance programs.
∎ Synchronize with different Departments and provide opinions to resolve different legal issues.
∎ Conduct Enquiry Meetings and prepare Enquiry Reports and other documentation as part of the Disciplinary Process.
∎ Represent the company in different legal proceedings before different courts of Bangladesh
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Strong drafting and vetting skills
∎ Analyzing and Advising on Legal Risk Management
∎ Preservation & Maintenance of Legal documents
∎ Sound knowledge in Microsoft word, excel and power point etc.
