Educational Requirements:
∎ 4 years Hons with Master's degree in Education from any recognized university. At least 3 First Division/ Class/ A Grade.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To assess training needs for new and existing faculty and administrative staff.
∎ To conduct ethics courses and other activities.
∎ To identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps.
∎ To partner with internal and external stakeholders for faculty and staff training needs.
∎ To plan, develop, coordinate, implement & facilitate orientation & training, and workshops for faculty and other staff irrespective of specific teaching modalities.
∎ To collaborate with the various units, centers, and departments.
∎ To liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design.
∎ To develop training aids and materials such as manuals and handbooks.
∎ To present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
∎ To design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
∎ To track and report on training outcomes.
∎ To provide feedback to program participants and management.
∎ To evaluate and make recommendations on training materials and methodology.
∎ To assist faculty with course redesigning through consultations and assistance with instructional design concepts, current pedagogical practices, the integration of digital teaching and learning tools, and other concepts as appropriate.
∎ To support the Center of career development (CCD) by designing modules and facilitating sessions and activities
∎ To work with CETL leadership and CRD on specific initiatives such as researching emerging teaching and learning technologies, researching innovative pedagogical practices, supervising student assistants, initiating and managing large-scale projects, and making presentations to leadership and academic departments to promote CETL.
∎ To work with the office of the Registrar in maintaining faculty and staff training records.
∎ To event management for training activities.
∎ To establish and maintain relationships with external training centers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 55000 (Monthly)
