Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree with Honors in Library and Information Science from a reputed university.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide circulation and reference services and assist library users in the effective searching of the online public access catalogue (OPAC), online databases and journals, answering ready- reference, directional and other enquiries.
∎ Cataloguing print and non- print materials using international standard MARC 21 and AACR2 and Integrated Library System Koha; upgrade and edit existing catalogue records.
∎ To provide training on use of online catalogue, discovery tool, institutional repository, databases, and online journals, searching techniques and strategies, Installing and maintaining library software.
∎ Updating library website.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bengali & English
∎ Must be self-motivated, dynamic, energetic and work under pressure.
∎ Having good moral values.
Salary: Negotiable
