• ·          Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Theory of Machines.

• ·          Practical experience in workshop practices such as fitting, machining, welding, carpentry, and fabrication.

• ·          Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and engineering schematics.

• ·          Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, height gauge) and maintenance of lab equipment.

• ·          Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD / SolidWorks) and manufacturing processes.

• ·          Understanding of industrial safety standards, preventive maintenance, and quality control procedures.

• ·          Strong instructional, classroom management, and student mentoring skills for diploma-level learners.

• Ability to prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations, lab manuals, and assessment materials as per polytechnic curriculum standards.
