 Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.

 Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.

 Sound understanding of basic electronics, power systems, and industrial electrical installations.

 Practical experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.

 Knowledge of national electrical codes and compliance standards.

 Ability to conduct laboratory sessions and demonstrate hands-on practical skills effectively.

 Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.

 Basic computer literacy, including MS Office applications and presentation tools.

 Ability to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 Commitment to continuous professional development and technical upskilling.

 Ability to manage classroom discipline and ensure lab safety protocols are strictly maintained.

 Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and student-centered learning approaches.

1. Teaching and Training:

• Conduct theoretical and practical classes on electrical engineering topics.

• Train students in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

2. Curriculum Support:

• Assist in developing course materials, lesson plans, and instructional content.

• Update teaching methods to align with industry standards.

3. Workshop Supervision:

• Oversee the electrical lab and ensure proper usage of tools and equipment.

• Maintain the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the workshop.

4. Student Guidance:

• Mentor students in project work, assignments, and hands-on activities.

• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

5. Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure all electrical lab equipment is operational and well-maintained.

• Coordinate repair and procurement of necessary tools.

6. Administrative Support:

• Maintain records of student activities and departmental documentation.

• Participate in meetings and contribute to institutional development plans.
