Job Context

The Business Analyst is responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating requirements into precise functional and non-functional specifications. The role operates in a cross-functional environment, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, software development teams, and external partners to ensure that solutions align with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives. The position typically supports complex, enterprise-level solutions with high business impact.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals, operational challenges, and system requirements.

• Lead requirements elicitation activities, including workshops, interviews, process mapping, and gap analysis.

• Analyze and document current-state (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) business processes.

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Software Requirements Specification (SRS), use cases, and user stories.

• Ensure requirements and supporting documentation are prepared in compliance with organizational standards and aligned to future certification needs, such as CMMI maturity levels and ISO standards, to support process maturity and regulatory readiness.

• Translate business requirements into precise, actionable specifications for technical teams.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and constraints.

• Develop process models, diagrams, and supporting documentation using industry-standard notations and tools.

• Support quality assurance activities by assisting in test planning, executing UAT, and validating delivered solutions against requirements.

• Serve as the main point of contact between business units, technology teams, and support teams.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business analysts, as applicable.

• Prepare status reports, presentations, impact assessments, and recommendations for management and key stakeholders.
