Job Context:
∎ Saic Group contributes their effort in large scale in the education sector in whole Bangladesh. Almost One Thousand (Administrative + Academic) staffs are employment under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Students continue their study under Saic Group.
∎ We are looking for Asst. Manager- Job Placement & Executive- Job Placement who will be responsible for facilitating job placements in Technical sector of Diploma students from Saic’s all Engineering Institutes. You will maintain close liaison with employer for placement of students and collect feedback from the companies where students are placed.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ PLACEMENT:
∎ Develop the design and plan the placement brochure which would be sent across to the organizations.
∎ Formulate placement plans for each batch that sets out their placement.
∎ Ensuring excellent placement of students.
∎ To develop and maintain data base of potential recruiters, appropriate employer and commercial/industrial links.
∎ Organize interviews/Campus drive/Job Fairs at the centers.
∎ COORDINATION:
∎ Liaise between the Placement team and the Education team for smooth coordination.
∎ Create and maintain MIS report of the placement process.
∎ Research on the net for gathering specific information about employer’s jobs etc.
∎ Responsible for New Client tie ups and renewals of tie ups.
∎ Responsible for Industry Interaction to create opportunities for Placement for students.
∎ STUDENT RELATIONS:
∎ Organize regular sessions for students to orient them about employment options and career pathways.
∎ To maintain student database and tracking candidates on monthly basis.
∎ Conduct students' interview to know about their ability and efficiency.
∎ Understand the students' interest and requirement before seeking a job for him/her.
∎ Provide high quality career counseling and impartial Information, Advice and Guidance that empowers to make positive choices about potential careers.
∎ To organize work placements and support students in the work placement process.
∎ PUBLIC RELATIONS:
∎ Facilitate smooth communication between students, Institute authorities who are part of the placement and organization's showing interest in campus placement process.
∎ Meet HR Heads of the organization, give them detailed Presentation & do the tie up for placements.
∎ Responsible for Industry Interaction to create opportunities for Placement for students.
∎ Maintain good relations with students and Industry authority for undertaking various task and achieving targets.
∎ Client visit, client acquisition, client coordination for placement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be excellent in M.S. Office Suite
∎ Willing to travel around the country frequently
∎ Should know how the arts of Selling
∎ Should be ready to face the challenges and achieve every target
∎ Must have network beyond the Country
∎ Should have sound knowledge of social media
∎ Have a good relationship with local media
∎ Expert in managing and organizing events
∎ Have advanced knowledge on Supply and Demand of Jobs and must understand the Job Cycle of the Country
∎ Must have pleasing personality
∎ Excellent in all sorts of oral and written communication
∎ Must be pro-active and able to achieve targets
