Job Context:
∎ Saic Group contributes their effort in large scale in the education sector in whole Bangladesh. Almost One Thousand (Administrative + Academic) staffs are employment under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Thousand Students continue their study under Saic Group. We are looking for a Asst. Manager, Executive and Asst. Executive (Job Placement & Mobilization) for Saic Group (Head Office) and Saic Professional Training Center (SPTC) who will be able to analyze the Market Demands and supply of our eligible students accordingly.
∎ He will work closely with our all Institutions to ensure quality placements to all of our valued students. His major responsibility would be ensuring better placement opportunities for all students having Engineering and Medical background and to fulfill all the associated tasks related with pre and post-placement.
∎ He should perform a mix of career counseling and related duties to coordinate with the institution`s staffs and students. His daily duties range from examining job descriptions and employment advertisement to helping students complete the hiring process. Working as a Specialist he has to play a vital role in presenting the institution to national, local and international level & create a friendly job market for the institutional product and output as well. He must travel to visit potential employers, attend hiring events, and visit renowned human resources teams according to action plan.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports, articles, and presentations to highlight the performance of Saic Group
∎ Candidate must have good communication skills and networking with national and local level institutions, employers of different sectors, civil society and other stakeholders of development
∎ Contribute to training on technical and vocational skills development and private sector involvement in training to skills based sector
∎ Contribute the planning & implementation of the placement policies and activities
∎ Provide technical support in long term and short term training & education programmes of technical and vocational skills
∎ Arrange workshops and seminars with the employers, arrange job fair and ensure promotional and branding issues of the organization
∎ Create the industry relationship for all branch offices
∎ Arrange the quality placement in home and abroad for the students who have passed or yet to pass
∎ Prepare and conduct MoU with the various relevant industries of Bangladesh
∎ Arrange the career counseling for the students
∎ Has to update, edit, and smarten-up the CV/ Resume of the students
∎ Submit the monthly report to the management of all branch offices
∎ Ensure permanent job opportunities for all the passing out students
∎ Has to study or understand candidates and shortlist students as per vacancies and organizing for interview and written tests
∎ Has to maintain and update students database and regular interaction with them during Internship/ Attachment period
∎ Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines
∎ Maintain regular communication with various renowned industries and projects
∎ Arrange the job placement seminar, workshop, conferences on regular basis to boost up the image of Saic Group
∎ Develop new business relationships, generate, and negotiate new potential employers
∎ Candidate should be able to function effectively independently as well as in groups
∎ Prepared to accept challenges and work under pressure
∎ Arrange industrial attachment training & Industrial tour for students
∎ Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be excellent in M.S. Office Suite
∎ Willing to travel around the country frequently
∎ Should know how the arts of Selling
∎ Should be ready to face the challenges and achieve every target
∎ Must have network beyond the Country
∎ Should have sound knowledge of social media
∎ Have a good relationship with local media
∎ Expert in managing and organizing events
∎ Have advanced knowledge on Supply and Demand of Jobs and must understand the Job Cycle of the Country
∎ Must have pleasing personality
∎ Excellent in all sorts of oral and written communication
∎ Must be pro-active and able to achieve targets
