• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or equivalent discipline

• Microsoft Professional Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure, Microsoft 365) – Advantage

• Relevant IT or cybersecurity certifications are a plus

• At least 5 years

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in:

• Enterprise, Healthcare or mid-sized organizational IT environments

• System administration, networking, and application support

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server administration

• Practical experience with SQL Server or equivalent databases

• LAN/network troubleshooting and configuration expertise

• Strong IT administrative and operational skills

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues independently

Desirable / Additional Skills

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments (added advantage)

• Familiarity with cloud security and virtualization

• Experience in healthcare or enterprise environments (preferred)

Position Overview

Sylhet Kidney Foundation Hospital (SKFH) is seeking a competent and experienced IT Systems & Infrastructure Officer to manage enterprise-level IT operations, including system administration, LAN/network management, ERP support, cybersecurity, and cloud-enabled infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to support mission-critical healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

Systems & Server Administration

• Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments (2000 and above)

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and server security

• Install, configure, monitor, and optimize SQL Server or equivalent database platforms

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of servers and applications

Network & LAN Management

• Design, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure (switches, routers, cabling)

• Monitor network performance, uptime, and security

• Maintain structured cabling and network documentation

ERP & Application Management

• Administer and support ERP systems (healthcare ERP preferred)

• Coordinate with ERP vendors for deployment, updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements

• Ensure data integrity, access control, and system performance

Cloud & Collaboration Platforms

• Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, backup, security basics)

• Administer Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

• Support collaboration and communication platforms across departments

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Implement and maintain endpoint security, antivirus, firewall, and access controls

• Manage data backup strategies (on-premises, off-site, cloud)

• Support business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness

• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards

Documentation & IT Governance

• Maintain accurate IT documentation (network diagrams, server inventory, backup logs)

• Support IT audits, compliance assessments, and governance initiatives

• Assist management in IT risk identification and mitigation
